Pirates' Cove Information Blocks

The home page for Cove is comprised of "blocks," which are panels of information. Examples of blocks include the local weather, announcements, Cove information, news sources, search engines, and a stock report. You can choose the blocks that you would like to display as well as their placement on the page.

Add Blocks

  1. On the Cove page, select "Preferences."
  2. Select "Add/Remove Blocks." The blocks are divided in three categories: Cove Blocks, News Blocks, and Stocks Block.
  3. Click in the column you want a block to appear under. (If you do not want a particular block to appear, leave the row blank or select "Remove.")
  4. To save your changes, select "Submit Preferences."

Remove Blocks

  1. On the Cove page, select "Preferences."
  2. Select "Add/Remove Blocks." The blocks are divided in three categories: Cove Blocks, News Blocks, and Stocks Block.
  3. Find the row that contains the block you wish to remove. Click in the "Remove" column.
  4. To save your changes, select "Submit Preferences."

Organize Blocks

  1. On the Cove page, select "Preferences."
  2. Select "Sort Blocks By Column."
  3. The window will display a layout that mirrors the layout on your Cove page. Change the order of blocks in a column by typing the new order in which you would like them to appear.
  4. To save your changes, select "Sort Blocks."

NOTE: To move a block to a different column, select "Add/Remove Blocks" in Preferences.

Configure Stocks

If you have selected stocks to appear on your Cove page, then you can customize a portfolio.

Add Stocks

  1. On the Cove page, select "Preferences."
  2. Select "Configure Stocks."
  3. Type the stock symbol in the Symbol field.
  4. Select "Add" to include the stock in your portfolio.

Delete Stocks

  1. On the Cove page, select "Preferences."
  2. Select "Configure Stocks."
  3. Select the stock(s) you want to delete and select "Delete."
